Francie Stull created the Silken Windhounds, she bred them for years, but did not "do" much about it at the time. In 1997 when Internet spread like wildfire, I pressed hard on Francie to make it a little more official.  

The first Silken Windhound mail list was created i 1998, I hunted down all fanciers of the Silkens I could possibly find all over the world.
